In Mustang, a region with a long tradition of holistic healing practices, the participants got an insight into the fascinating variety of the medical healing methods of the Amchis. There were presentations about the history of the healing practices, their link to Buddhism and about the use of medicinal herbs and plants in the mountain areas of the Himalayas.
