Online appointment system for visa applications

Please be informed that all visa applicants have to set an appointment online under: visa appointment system Kathmandu in order to facilitate the visa process and avoid long waiting times for our applicants.

This rule applies to applications for a Schengen visa (for a visit, tourism, business trip, short stay not longer than 90 days in the Schengen area) and also to applications for a German national visa (for studying, family reunion, au-pairs, for work, for any stay over 90 days in Germany).

The visa section provides a small number of slots per day for Schengen visa applicants without appointment between 11.30 am and 12 noon. Please call the embassy under (+977-1) 421 7200 in order to enquire about those appointments. Please note that written request will no longer be processed.
